In its first season, Shark Tank India has turned heads in India with record viewership and popularity. Even though the show ended weeks ago, the buzz around the show is still fresh on social media.
The Sharks have been sharing frequent updates on their investments and how their mentorship is helping budding and established entrepreneurs.
Namita Thapar recently took to Instagram to share a special update with her fans.
Sharing a photo, Namita wrote how she regrets two things on the show. Thapar revealed that she regrets not having invested in the new companies of Jugaadu Kamlesh and Pandurang Taware.
Namita also added that she decided to correct her mistake by definitely investing in agritourism, a cause that is very close to her heart. She captioned her post:
“A positive start to my weekend…my two regrets during the shark tank were Jugaadu Kamlesh and Pandurang Taware, two amazing farmers from Maharashtra. Today I have invested in Pandurang’s company who is working for a great cause close to my heart, Agritourism, excited to partner with him to help farmers in India show the beauty of our villages to the world!
After Namita’s update, several Shark Tank India fans flooded her post with responses.
They praised her for taking that step and believing in a farmer’s dreams.
A few weeks ago, Shark Tank India presenter Rannvijay Singha also announced that he had invested in startup Sameer Mirjakar and Viraj Sawant. They were the only contestants to break an ‘All Sharks Bid’ on the show.
The first season of Shark Tank India became a huge success as it managed to start the conversation about entrepreneurship in India. Sharks Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Ghazal Alagh and Namita Thapar became popular on social media after their stint on the show as “sharks”.
