Shocking moment fight breaks out between United Airlines worker and football player Brendan Langley as former NFL pro is arrested

STUNNING footage shows the moment a fight broke out between former NFL player Brendan Langley and a United Airlines worker who ends up knocked over at the check-in counter.

The soccer player was arrested and charged with simple assault, police told TMZ, while a United spokesman told the Sun the employee was fired.

Langley and an employee appeared to be facing each other across the desk at the Newark airport in New Jersey.

The two are believed to have gotten into an argument after Langley used a wheelchair to transport her luggage instead of a $5 luggage cart.

Langley appears to slap the worker, who is wearing a uniform, across the face before throwing punches at him.

After being pushed several times, the airline employee appears to be preparing for a fight.

The former soccer player appears to retaliate as he throws several punches, the video shows.

Causes employee to trip backwards against equipment by hitting head before falling onto conveyor belt.

Meanwhile, masked travelers are seen at the airport moving their luggage to safety.

Another employee tries to intervene before walking back, while another man tries to defuse the situation.

Airport staff can be heard yelling “stop” as chaos unfolded in the terminal.

The United Airlines employee, who is bloodied, is seen staggering as he walks toward the man.

Langley is heard saying, “You want more? Do you want more?”

Brendan Langley was a third round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft after playing out of Lamar University.

He now plays for the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL.

It is not known if any action has been taken against the employee in the footage.

A United Airlines spokesman said: “United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our aircraft and we are working with local authorities to further investigate this matter.”

The worker appeared to suffer a cut to the head following the alleged altercation.
