Rusk Media raises $9.5Mn in Series A

Rusk Media Private Limited, a digital entertainment company, has raised $9.5 million in an expanded Series A funding round led by DAOL Investment and Audacity Ventures. Other investors such as InfoEdge Ventures, Mistry Ventures and Survam Partners have also participated in this round.

Rusk Media has raised a total of $12 million in the last three years and counts Nazara Games and NODWIN Gaming as its early investors.

The New Delhi-based company is known through its content and IP on social channels Alright! and Playground with more than 500 monthly views and its programs on OTT platforms.

Rusk claims to have worked in the past with key brands such as Mondelez International, Perfetti Van Melle and Jubilant FoodWorks, among others, for his Alright! brand. Also, they have partnered with big brands including KFC and ITC limited for their gaming entertainment IP playground.

Rusk Media with NODWIN Gaming recently released a gaming entertainment IP, Playground, created with gaming artists such as CarryMinati, Triggered Insaan, ScoutOP, and Mortal and claims to have garnered over 200 million views. The IP is scheduled to go global for the next edition from December 2022 to January 2023.
